Captain Rex Portrait

I want to start doing more headshots/portraits of the figures I photograph — mostly because it gives me a chance to remember all my past lighting lessons but also because few people show these close up views of the toys. I actually have a project in mind and will be testing it with shots like this one of Captain Rex. Captain Rex (designation number CT-7567) is a fictional character in the Star Wars franchise and introduced as a main character in the animated series called “The Clone Wars,” which is a fan favorite.
For these shots I am using my Sony a7C and Sony G 90mm Macro lens.
