Time for something different. I have come a long way on my toy photo journey. I am now building my own backgrounds in AI — taking those into BorisFX and adding SFX to them, printing them, then concentrating on lighting the character the way I want it to appear in the final image, with little to no post.

In this image I am straight out of camera except for crop and minimal sharpening in Topaz Sharpen AI. That’s it. Nothing else. I did all the special post work to the background before I printed it so no need once I got the light right on the character.

I photographed this image using my Fuji X100V.

Lighting was from a Lume Cube Panel Pro and a reflector.
