Wolverine Fighting Armor Portrait

TOYPHOTOGRAPHS
1 min readOct 26, 2022

Today’s picture is a portrait of the Sen-Ti-Nel — Marvel — Wolverine, Sentinel Fighting Armor — version. I wanted to make a photo of Wolverine based on the big fireball scene depicting the August 1945 nuclear attack on Nagasaki, Japan. It’s a pivotal scene from the 2013 movie simply titled — “The Wolverine.”

I really like the Fighting Armor version although he’s obviously not intended to be representative of the character we see in the comics or the movies for that matter. I”ve been working with larger format figures lately but this is a 1:12 figure and I still love it.

I used BorisFX Optics running as a plug-in via Photoshop to create the firestorm. (Save 20% off Boris FX Optics, go to https://bit.ly/3CtYWwt and enter my special coupon code on checkout: bourne-optics)
